26 Week Activity

Cross it off the list!
YES! I know I haven't done an activity from "The List" in a few weeks, but the whole point of the list is to stay busy right? Well, I've been pretty busy these past few weeks with family events and Kindergarten starting for Jet. Things have finally calmed down and this next activity came at JUST the right time.

This week, the activity I chose to do was: Go on a HOT date!

Every year, Brigham City has a 3 day festival called "Peach Days". They have parades, a carnival, shopping booths, FOOD and a car show. My husband and I had to split our family time at Peach Days because we both had to work.
My husband took the kids to the carnival one night. Here are some of his adventures!

The next morning I was able to take the kids to the fireman's breakfast and they got to hitch a ride in the parade - on top of a fire truck! They had a blast!

Family time is always great, but I have to say it was so nice to have a date night with my handsome husband. We decided to take Peach Days by night, but first dinner outside at Maddox! (Yes...I know my face is swollen)

After dinner we went to the carnival. OBVIOUSLY I can't go on the fun rides...so we went on the ONE that I could go on. I don't care how long you've been dating, married or whatever - going on a Ferris wheel with your sweetheart is super romantic! Especially at night. We may have stolen a few kisses...and I might have screamed when we got to the top and started rocking a little.

Just a few of the views, including the Brigham City temple. So pretty! (Sorry not great quality)

You can't go to a carnival without getting carnival food. We already ate so we just got dessert :)

The rest of the night we played a few games, browsed in a few shops, got home and put the kids to bed so we could watch Impractical Jokers. I love nights like that :)
See you next week!
